I posted this almost a year ago and failed miserably.  I decided I need some structure to actually pull it off.  Anne Marie found an idea on Flickr of taking a pic of you with your child or children once a week for a year.  Love this idea!  Makeup, no makeup, hair fixed or not.  Just want you guys to know, right up front, it might not be pretty, or even in focus!  But I hope it’ll be fun and become easier for me to get in front of the camera and those around me more willing to pick it up on their own.  I can take it, have someone else take it, use the camera timer or just use […]

I’ve been itching to get back to a more real life, photo of the day, feel to my blogging.  The glorious first two “sleepy” weeks with Teagan are over and he’s starting to wake up a little more (as I type this one handed while he snoozes on my chest – but you guys know what I mean).  So, the fetal position and easy to work with and position newborn will start to fade, and with it, the more formal portraits.  No bother, he still can’t get up and run away from me like the other two just yet, so its all good.

missing the gee

Again, just like that, her visit went by way too fast.  So sad to see her go.   We’re already counting down the days to her next visit.  Mother’s Day is a long 77 days away, just in case you were wondering. Not only do we miss the Gee in all her Gee-Gee glory, but also her extra set of hands.  Thanks  Mom for all your help, chasing the kids, helping us, the housework, the laundry, the picnic with Little T, having lunch with Ty at school and always being ready and willing to do any little thing for us or the baby.  It was immediately apparent what having an extra set of hands meant to us as soon as you […]
