I have to brag on Ty a little here today. I am just soooo proud of him. He brought his report card home yesterday and brought every.single.grade up. Every one. All A’s and B’s. I’m so proud him, he’s worked hard. Way back when, I opted to put Ty in transitional first grade to let him catch up socially and emotionally due to his late birthday. It was a great decision at the time, but now that he’s approaching middle school, it has brought on a few challenges. He is incredibly smart, very bright, makes friends easily and is very social. what we did today…..

a little spur of the moment egg hunt. i decided to grab the bunny suit on a whim and when i mentioned to ty it was in the trunk, he jumped on the opportunity. i was shocked and the girls were thrilled. he was pretty funny and it fit him way better than expected. he’s such a good sport! not only did he wear the bunny with pride, he also packed our picnic lunch and hid all the eggs down at our neighborhood park for the other kids. i love him.

(((my friend Alli and I had a bet on what Teagan’s first sentence would be. She thought it would be “back off chic” and I thought it would be “give me that back”…..both directed at Taryn. Yesterday I took his pacifier and held it out for him to follow me in to his room to go down for his nap. He looked right at me and said “gimmedat”. Jase and I couldn’t believe it!
