1. Not sure if this will be 10 but I’ve been MIA and feel the need to catch up.

2. Favorite moment from the first day of 2010…..Teagan throws his arms up in the air and yells “HA-PEEEEE NEW YEAR!”. We all smile and clap at him. So he smiles, soaks in the approval from us, throws his arms in the air again and yells “TOUCHDOWN!!!”. I love that kid.

3. Iphone pic….I find it oddly amusing and ironic that these two rung in the new year just like this…..

through Christmas. and the sugar rush. and we did it all relatively healthy. no surgeries. lots of breathing treatments. tons of grandparents. lots of gifts. very few meltdowns. some good food. way too much hot chocolate. a getaway for Jase and I (wahoo!!!). a holiday filled with a whole lot of love. i’ll be back soon as we try to find some sense of normal again….until then, we’re enjoying my mom being here for just a few more days….

and since I feel bad posting without a pic….one of my three monkeys that I was holding on to until all the gifts were opened….

1. Last week Ty made smores. It was a certain someone’s first smore ever. That someone thoroughly enjoyed it….but I’m not naming any names….

2. In an effort to squeeze an entire holiday season of events into the week before Christmas, we’ve been busy. Sunday night we ventured out to Zilker Park to the Trail of Lights. It was toned down a lot the year due to ACL but we’ve never been before and had nothing to compare it to, so we were thrilled. Sorry things have been a little quiet around here. I wish I could say it was because we’re so busy soaking up the holiday spirit there is no time to blog. Unfortunately, we’ve had a rough few days around here. Late last week I brought Teagan in to his ENT for an ear followup and everything looked good, awesome news! We also chatted about the possibility that he may have obstructive sleep apnea. Taryn had it from about 18 months on and we never knew until she was 4…yeah, long time. Bob’s been a fairly well behaved elf the last few nights. This morning he was just hanging out on the ceiling fan cord. Teagan thought is was hilarious and kept saying “oooohhh Bob!!”

Personally, I think Bob is bored and wants Twink to come out and play 😉
