1. I tried hard to pretend today that we weren’t preparing for surgery for our baby on the second Easter in a row. It got to me, no matter how much I tried not to let it. Having children with health problems is hard. And those problems don’t go away on holidays. Teagan’s surgery this week will be one year to the day of his surgery last year.

2. We did manage to do a few fun things with the kids, we died eggs, did an egg hunt in the front yard and we made our annual bunny cake…..I used to make this with my mom when I was a little girl…..

This morning, as I was dozing in and out, trying to convince myself to put at least one foot out of the bed, Jason was up with the kids cooking breakfast. As I dozed out again I felt a little tap on my forehead, just between my eyes. And before I even opened them, I thought it would be Taryn standing there, because that is her old trick. But it was Teagan. I opened them, smiled in surprise that it was him, and groggily closed them again. 1. It seems I am sinking. I have a hard drive full of images that need some love and attention so that I can send them off to my clients. I am super behind…on everything, editing, email, voicemail, packaging orders, etc. If you are waiting on me for something, I’m sorry, I’m coming, I promise! Between Jason going out of town last weekend and being on my own with the boys, Teagan’s health issues and my kids being off for spring break, figuring out summer camps, signing up for dance classes, trips to the doctor and dentist…..I’m sinking.
