1.  We had a great Memorial Day weekend filled with great friends and food and several parties and long walks and longer naps (even for me!) and tired kiddos.  Perfect way to start the summer.

this is bad.  i’m not ready.  i just want to scream nooooooooo from the rooftop.

taryn was on the back porch, blowing bubbles.  when teagan got done with his snack, he ran over to the back door and started to yell at her.  of course hoping she’d let him out (not a chance, she likes to torture him like that).  i thought he looked cute standing there, so i grabbed my camera off the shelf nearby…

While my Mom was here for Mother’s Day she had the idea to take a girls day and go get pedicures.  We took Taryn along and it was not her first time having her nails painted (her daddy is normally in charge of that) but it was her first time going to a ‘salon’.  And by ‘salon’ I mean the place tucked into the parking lot of HEB lol.  Little T was all over it, so excited to leave the boys behind.  Until we got to the door, she stopped and I could see her nose squish up from the smell.  We got her in the door though and her first job was to pick out polish.  Soooooo many choices.  […]

The cure for baby fever.  The perfect birth control.  Photographing my own family.  We had plans while my mom was in town to head out for a family session and then go out to dinner.  We talked to the kids about being cooperative and being well behaved.  Unfortunately, the PCS was at an all time high and the Mother’s Day gift of cooperation soon turned to the gift of frustration.  I can honestly say that I was on the verge of tears…..why are my kids so tough?  Why is it easier to photograph clients?  I’ve totally ruined them with daily “quick” and “one or two here and there” exposure to the camera.  Don’t they understand that it would be easier […]
