theory proven: turkey makes you sleepy
This is how we found her this morning. I guess she called for us by the gate and we didn’t hear her. Probably all that sleep inducing turkey we scarfed down. She was too tired to head back to her warm bed, so she just crashed with her head in the corner. Silly girl. Today I am thankful for so many things….funny little girls who falls asleep in crazy places. For my husband who makes me smile, shares little secrets and drives me crazy. For my son who is bright and smart and witty. For my spunky daughter is who “most thankful for cupcakes”….can’t really blame her, can you? […]
help me
Help me, not the turkey LOL! Ok, so I’m on call 24/7 right now anticipating two new babies (I LOVE photographing births and seriously can’t wait to get the calls!)….but, this also means that we won’t be traveling for Thanksgiving this year. So, I have to cook a turkey. I think I’ve cooked one once. Ok, twice if you count the year after Katrina and we ate microwave turkey frozen dinners in the FEMA trailer. That probably doesn’t count though huh?
So….how do you cook your turkey??? I’m a pretty decent cook, I can hold my own, but we usually have Thanksgiving with family, so bird duty rarely falls on me. […]
I thought I’d share a few more…
he’s just way too cute to only share a few from his sneakpeek. I just sent this little guys momma their coffee table book designs and I thought I’d come and share a few of my favorite shots from their session while I was at it.
yuck n muck
these two. she loves him. but he also drives her nuts. she is going through a phase where she doesn’t want him to touch her things. she fears his drool. she spends her day taking this away from him. sigh. it’s a good thing he’s so chill. sharing means him sharing with her. never the other way around. but then on the other hand, she’s come a long, long way. they make each other laugh all day long. she laughs at him, tickles him, plays with him, kisses him, it’s her goal all day long to make him laugh at her, and he happily gives in. he adores everything.single.thing about her.
10 on Tuesday
1. First up, Ty’s play, he was Benjamin Franklin and he ROCKED! I was so impressed. The most proud momma sitting in the front row! He did so good. It’s hard to get up there in front of everyone, especially at his age, but he really did amazing.
2. A little funny at the play. There stands Ben on stage and here comes George Washington, in an appropriate costume of a big hat and white curly hair. Little T pipes up with a….and I quote….”WHY IS THAT DUDE DRESSED LIKE A PIRATE?!?!” hahahaha
3. This weekend we all had dates. We took shifts going to the movies. I took Ty […]
