Happy Easter

We had a really simple Easter.  We stayed home, kids played outside with a campground full of kiddos, we cooked a big dinner and Jason did a deep clean on both of our AC units on top of the RV.  Being in a state park, it was FULL for the holiday weekend and that meant Jonah found a pack of 8 year old-ish boys to run with.  So many great kids and families here!

Zachary and Jude spent hours in the hammocks today, most of it snuggling and playing with the Rubik’s cube.  They are just the sweetest together.  Also, Z was in heaven with a special treat today.  It’s hard to have […]

Best friends forever

Best friends forever. Through thick and thin, near or far, up or down, these kids have each other. Mom tip

Mom pro tip: when they run up with a closed fist and sweetly say “Mom, guess what’s in my hand!!” DO. NOT. DO. IT. Instead, RUN!! 🤣😂 Spoiler alert: it was worms. After four boys I’ve also learned to decline when they say “Hey mom, smell my hand!” 😂👎🏼

Muddy puddles

It was a creek bed and muddy puddles kinda evening. We are thankful for a break in the rain on our last evening here. It’s been easy to pop in to the Smokey Mountains National Park just a few miles up the road. We head to Asheville with the RV tomorrow but Sunday we will drive to see the BFFs in Tennessee. It’s been way to long and my kids are beyond excited to see their besties!
