In the moment

I struggle with whether to bring my big camera on simple walks and small adventures. Mostly because I want to be in the moment. The other night I caught a photo of Jason walking Maggie in this spot with my cell and I just had to bring Z back with my real camera before we checked out of this campground. ⠀

The sky put on a show today.

cloudst We didn’t expect much out of our one night in Wichita Falls. A stay in a state park and a big trip to the health food store to stock up for a week. But man, did the sky put on a show today. Sun and rain and a rainbow and beams and some wicked cool clouds. We were all impressed Wichita Falls! I think this looks like a painting….I’m totally going to have each of the kids paint this photo as an art lesson. ⠀

Firsts in every state

This little guy needs a haircut so bad. But I’ll confess I’m waiting until we get to Colorado soon. I’m tracking his milestones by state. First tooth, Arkansas. First steps, Florida. First time running, Texas. First haircut, Colorado. Stopped screeching like an angry pterodactyl….any state he chooses! 🤣

RV Shoe Storage

Campfire

We didn’t get many campfires in Florida and boy did we miss them! This was the best kind of campfire: friends and marshmallows after a day of swimming!

Lazy river time

Our week in Louisiana included lots of lazy river time right outside our front door at @reunionlakerv. Our dear friend Carrie and her boys came to hang out. She’s so good for my soul and is the very best part of Louisiana. Good food, great friends, and a LOT of laughter.
