Follow along as these night owls attempt a very early morning rise to see the first rays of light on the eastern seaboard on Cadillac Mountain. Did we all make it? Spoiler: one of us did NOT! We also see Thunder Hole, hike Jordon Pond / The Bubbles and drive over to the Schoodic Peninsula. Oh! And there was a run in with a raccoon and a bald eagle! Visiting family and the first order of business is a swim in the big tub! We use a Torkis IKEA bucket to give this kiddo a bath in the RV and he loves it. But it sure is fun to explore a big tub every now and then too!
We fit! We took a big chance and guessed that we *might* fit in my mom’s driveway for a free stay. It was a risk because there are literally no open RV spots available right now in this cute little beach town. We added a 50 amp hookup to the area near her driveway and she had a few branches on the trees trimmed down. That was a good move because we wouldn’t have fit otherwise!
