1. I did three photo sessions with Teagan trying to get the perfect birthday invitation photo only to end up using a snapshot. Go figure. Ah well, it’s done and sent to the printer. Happy about that. I’ll share after his party.

2. One of those photo sessions included the 1 year old right of passage. He totally dug it. It was awesome.

yup, he cut his hair (hallelujah!!!! goodbye shag!!!) to give homage to his little bro….

i tried out the pioneer woman’s bw action on this one. i like it, which says alot, because I always have a hard time converting anything with red in it and being happy with the results. yeah, i’m probably the last person on the planet to discover her and get hooked on her blog. i think i heard somewhere she was in austin awhile back or something and clicked on her blog out of curiousity. i’ve been a blog stalker ever since…..

You guys remember how Ty won the Bump Photo Contest right? Well, we won a trip to Jamaica, a photo shoot to be featured in The Bump Magazine and a Susan Brown gift basket.

Unfortunately, the best thing was the gift basket. Don’t get me wrong….I LOVED the images from our session but read on . . . . .

First, the company we were put in contact with for the trip has been unresponsive at best. When we would actually get a response, they wouldn’t actually answer any of our questions. The kids and I went out scouting shoot locations today for a few sessions I’ve got coming up. After too long in the car we stopped at the park and played awhile. It was a little cold but nice. Total bonus that I managed to capture his new shiny tooth since it broke through at Christmas….

so many things i want to remember….ok, a few I don’t want to remember like Teagan cutting his first tooth, everyone being really sick, ear infections…..but I digress…
