I’ve been getting headaches for a few weeks. They have progressively gotten worse and worse and it was to the point where I could barely see my computer screen to edit without really squinting. My rx always changes with each pregnancy and each baby, so I just figured my eyes were finding a new normal now that my hormones are leveling out from having Teagan last year. And since Taryn is off having fun with Lily on this Friday ((aka fun friend friday is what they call it)), I made an appointment for this morning. I’m still here, sorry for it being so quiet around here. I’m frantically trying to catch up from having lots of session and birth recently. I’ve been proofing like a crazy person. Teagan’s surgery last week really threw my entire schedule of work and home balance off….I’m here though!! I am plugging away if you are waiting on proofs from me and if I owe you an email or phone call, I’m working my way through those too!

I thought once Teagan was recovered from the surgery, things would go back to ‘normal’….only it is a new normal. He’s feeling so much better and he is EV.ERY.WHERE. Oh yeah, and he does his own tricks 😉

Teagan is doing really well. I don’t think we fully realized just how bad he felt before his surgery, we can see a huge difference in him already. He’s all over the place, into everything, talking lots and even body slammed his sister yesterday. It was as though he’d been waiting till he felt better, and when he did, watch out girlfriend, take that! It’s funny to see a little of it come back to her now and then, cause boy can she dish it out!! She didn’t even know what to do when he slammed in to her, all she could do was laugh.

I have to brag on Ty a little here today. I am just soooo proud of him. He brought his report card home yesterday and brought every.single.grade up. Every one. All A’s and B’s. I’m so proud him, he’s worked hard. Way back when, I opted to put Ty in transitional first grade to let him catch up socially and emotionally due to his late birthday. It was a great decision at the time, but now that he’s approaching middle school, it has brought on a few challenges. He is incredibly smart, very bright, makes friends easily and is very social. But he’s always in a hurry to rush through and get the next thing. He gets bored easily and […]

for all the well wishes and prayers, we appreciate them more than you know.

teagan is doing well. we expected him to scream and cry when they took him from us to go into the OR but he did fantastic, not even a tear shed. coming out of surgery was another story. he was scared, in pain and very disoriented. but after lots of extra cuddles today and some extra rest, he’s doing very well. i will still be a little scarce and slow to reply to emails as my little man needs my attention and jase returns to a full day of work tomorrow. thanks again!
