Y’all.  Cuteness is out of control over here.  I could sit and talk to him for hours.  His cheeks, the thigh rolls, all the coos and smiles.  Baby love.  As usual, photo bomb compliments of Taryn!  She can’t resist him either!!

My friend Shannon bought Jonah this outfit.  It’s the single most soft and comfy outfit I’ve ever felt.  It’s made from organic cotton and I literally want to put it on him every single day.  Thank you Shannon!

My sweet, silly, boy thinks it is hilarious to sit sideways in his swing.  Taryn and Jude did this too.  Funny kiddos.  I can’t say that Ty did.  15+ years ago there weren’t battery operated swings.  If they existed, I certainly couldn’t afford one.  You had a big bucket seat (that didn’t allow for sideways sitting) and a metal crank that you had to wind up.  That meant you had exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds to shower while the swing was going.  I was good at speed showers back then.  I had to be!  It was a very different time to be a mother.  No computer in the house.  No […]

I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos tonight as Ty and Shelby got all dressed up for the football banquet.  I feel the need to take a picture any time Ty sheds his signature gym shorts and t-shirt.  They looked so nice and I hear they had a great time!

My baby boy rolled over.  For the first time!  And not only that, but I just so happened to be taking his picture the VERY FIRST TIME HE DID IT!  Y’all…..that never happens!  Even as much as I shove my camera in my kids faces, I’ve never caught a first as it was happening.  It took me 4 kids and tons of photo ops but it finally happened.  My funny, happy baby, rolling over at 9 weeks old.  I think it’s mostly gravity and his big old nugget, but hey, whatever works little man.  You rock that roll!  And boy does he.  Forget about tummy time, as soon as I plop […]

Christmas vacation is officially over.  And for us, that means that a 3 month homeschool break is over as well.  We took some time off just before Jonah arrived and through the holidays.  There was a lot of learning about all things baby and the break was good for us.  I really thought that returning to our studies and Jonah being 10 weeks old would be good timing.  I thought I’d have my bearings about me.  I thought we’d be closer to a schedule with him and naps.  I thought we’d somewhat have a routine.  BWAHAHAHAHA.  Not even close.  I’ll admit that I’ve cried more than once the last 2 days […]
