My sweet, silly, boy thinks it is hilarious to sit sideways in his swing. Taryn and Jude did this too. Funny kiddos. I can’t say that Ty did. 15+ years ago there weren’t battery operated swings. If they existed, I certainly couldn’t afford one. You had a big bucket seat (that didn’t allow for sideways sitting) and a metal crank that you had to wind up. I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos tonight as Ty and Shelby got all dressed up for the football banquet. I feel the need to take a picture any time Ty sheds his signature gym shorts and t-shirt. They looked so nice and I hear they had a great time!
My baby boy rolled over. For the first time! And not only that, but I just so happened to be taking his picture the VERY FIRST TIME HE DID IT! Y’all…..that never happens! Even as much as I shove my camera in my kids faces, I’ve never caught a first as it was happening. It took me 4 kids and tons of photo ops but it finally happened. Christmas vacation is officially over. And for us, that means that a 3 month homeschool break is over as well. We took some time off just before Jonah arrived and through the holidays. There was a lot of learning about all things baby and the break was good for us. I really thought that returning to our studies and Jonah being 10 weeks old would be good timing.
