Just a few snapshots from our trip to the pumpkin patch in October. We used to haul our crew all the way out to the fancy one over an hour away. And then the year Jonah was born we needed pumpkins last minute. Looking back at our first trip to this patch, the kids have grown and changed so very much. Man, time flies. Was that really 2 years ago?!
Imagine my surprise yesterday while standing at the kitchen island, to look up and see a little floating head on the other side of the bar. A bar that is over 4 feet high. A little head that is nowhere near 4 feet high. He thought it was hilarious to get up and see (touch) all the things out of his usual reach. Nosey little stinker.
I got up later than usual this morning, spotted a beautiful day outside and my messy house inside, and told the children to get dressed in a hurry then report to the kitchen to help fix a picnic lunch. It was in the 60’s, cool, clear, pretty and the weather is supposed to be yuck the rest of the week. I’m tired of being inside, cooped up, cleaning only for another mess to pop up seconds later.
