Oh these girls – they steal my heart a little more every year. Someone lost a tooth the day before our session – perfect timing! I think the ones of the girls dancing together and those in the window frame are my favorites. We just happened to come upon a purple framed window in an alley way in downtown Georgetown – what luck!
I first met Julie and Major at Lila’s newborn session. She was the sweetest little baby to work with and photograph. At the end of that session Julie asked me if I’d be interested in doing some work with a fundraiser she was working on at UT. At that time Major was a UT football coach. Ms. Joan turned 5 this fall. I never forget her birthday, as she and Jonah share it! When we got to the location, it was locked, so we photographed this entire session around the perimeter. That’s what I love about these, it’s not so much the location, but the love. The shots of her snuggling Jennifer at the end just melt my heart, so sweet. They fit on our laps for such a short time.
