This session makes me swoon. Everything about it felt romantic and intimate. This is why I love doing love light night sessions. Can you believe these two were worried about being comfortable in front of the camera?! I mean seriously!! Valerie is a photographer here in Austin so it was an extra special honor to be chosen to capture them.
Y’all. I love chunky babies. So much that sometimes I have to check myself and stop from reaching over, while photographing, to pinch the chub, cheeks, etc. This was one of those sessions. The cheeks, oh the cheeks. And the rubber band wrists and dimpled elbows, swoon! Can I go ahead and put in a request that this baby I’m carrying around be a chunk? Please?! If granted, it might keep me from pinching other peoples children LOL!

Kellan was quite the little rock star for his newborn session. Happy and calm unless we were messing with him and making him change! He loved the camera and spent a big part of his session looking directly at it….little ham in the making already! Congrats Michael and Becky, he’s absolutely adorable!!
This sweet little family is related to one of my favorite Austin clients. Jim and Jennifer have asked me to photograph their little ones several times over the years and they decided to purchase a mommy and me mini for Jim’s sister. The minis I had planned just happened to be on a weekend they were visiting from out of town, I was so excited! This is the first time she and her girls have been professional photographed and man, did they rock it! It was also really fun to watch Jim be “fun uncle Jim” instead of fun Dad!
I loved catching up with my old friends and baby planners!! Hilary booked a mommy & me mini this past spring and I couldn’t get over how much the boys have grown. My two absolute favorites from our time together are the images of the boys running in circles around her and the one of one upside down in her arms and one at her feet. It’s a twin mom thing! Love it! I hope you love your photos Hilary!
After trying really hard to live and sleep without a pregnancy pillow this time around, my sweet husband took mercy on me around my birthday and bought me a snoogle. I tried hard, $80 for a bunch of cotton seems ridiculous. Until you really figure you are paying $80 for sleep. Precious sleep, totally worth every penny. Especially when it is a gift I don’t have to feel guilty spending money on. I just get to enjoy it. Or I try….that $80 piece of cotton proves to need defending.
