craving | austin photographer

Yum!  Grass fed beef burger, raw milk cheese, bacon, avocado and salsa.  All organic.  Sooooooo good.  And already gone.  And I didn’t share a single bite with the kids, even though they asked.

You know you are really pregnant when you find the time to blog and you choose to talk about food over the latest cute thing your kid did.  Guilty.

the perfect way to end the summer | austin family photographer

The Anderson Family:  SPLASH!

A few weeks ago I went and hung out with my friend Michele of Pinkle Toes Photography and her family for the evening.  Michele really wanted to document what she calls the best summer of their lives.  They put in a pool this year and their kids have lived in it.  I had a blast documenting their typical evening hanging out, listening to music and splashing in the pool.  It’s hard to believe that just a few short years ago I was capturing Amry’s birth at their home.  And in just a few short weeks, Michele will come to our home and capture the birth of our 4th.  I’m so thankful for her friendship and […]

troopers | austin family photographers

These three were such troopers early this morning.  Not only was it very early, it was very hot and humid!  Sweet Julia is 3 months old and just so sweet and chubby.  Hot, humid and baby chub = the perfect reason to strip down to nothing but a diaper and cover.  I LOVE chubby babies!!  Thanks for coming out B family, it was great to meet you!

Jane is 6! | austin child photographer

From toddler to little girl in the blink of an eye.  I’ve been photographing Jane for 3 years now and let me tell you, when she jumped out of their car today, I was blown away.  Not only has she grown so much, she’s grown up!  She’s progressed so much, even since our last session in the spring, she’s started kindergarten, and is turning 6!  Maybe I’m just a pregnant hormonal mess, but it brought tears to my eyes.  Sweet, sweet, Jane, you are amazing and I’m lucky to be your friend.  Happy birthday big girl!

kids these days | austin lifestyle photographer

Ha!  I love this.  Funny Charlie.  I had an in-home lifestyle session with this awesome family yesterday afternoon.  I hadn’t seen Charlie and his twin sister Lizzy since they were babies and oh my goodness, they have grown so much!  Definitely not babies anymore!  Busy, fun, chatty 2 year old kiddos.  Who apparently have peeps they need to be in touch with mid photo session.  Sorry for interrupting Charlie 😉

out came the smiles | austin family photographer

I have been so excited about this session for so long.  Amy is a long time blog reader who recently moved to Austin.  It was so great to meet her and her family downtown this morning!  They are also expecting a little baby boy in just a few months so it was fun to chat and catch up and have someone to waddle through the park with!  Just kidding Amy, you are totally not waddling (yet)!  Ha!  It took Miss A a bit to warm up, a quick snack, a walk with daddy and then out came the smiles.
