About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Dear new homeschoolers everywhere:

Long time homeschoolers are bored out of their minds too.  This is not how this usually works.  We miss parks, museums and the adventures that usually come along with the freedom of learning outside of a classroom.  Please don’t judge us too harshly when this feels miserable.  We are struggling for the same reasons too.  Long live craft projects that keep kids busy for a whole 10 minutes!  Today that looked like peanut butter, birdseed and pinecone bird feeders thanks to my mom.

To say that the last few weeks have been overwhelming would be an understatement. Jason starting a new job, us adjusting to me being on my own with the kids while he works, starting a new year of homeschool, getting back on the road, landing at my moms house, the corona virus, it’s just been a lot. But I’m consistently making an effort to see some positives: his job was already fully remote and secure for now. They put a freeze on hiring just 5 days after he started…whew!
