About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

My sweet, silly, boy thinks it is hilarious to sit sideways in his swing.  Taryn and Jude did this too.  Funny kiddos.  I can’t say that Ty did.  15+ years ago there weren’t battery operated swings.  If they existed, I certainly couldn’t afford one.  You had a big bucket seat (that didn’t allow for sideways sitting) and a metal crank that you had to wind up.  That meant you had exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds to shower while the swing was going.  I was good at speed showers back then.  I had to be!  It was a very different time to be a mother.  No computer in the house.  No […]

I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos tonight as Ty and Shelby got all dressed up for the football banquet.  I feel the need to take a picture any time Ty sheds his signature gym shorts and t-shirt.  They looked so nice and I hear they had a great time!

Oh sweet boy, you stole my heart again this morning.  With your sweet smiles, your unsteady first steps, the way you throw your arms up in the air when you are happy, your love of bubbles, the wrinkly bottoms of your feet.  A whole year has gone by.  Happy birthday Reagan!

ps – while I usually try to choose more portrait style images for sneak peeks, I couldn’t resist these images.  We captured them at the very end of the session when we were technically finished and I was about ready to pack up.  It never fails, that those last few photos are my faves, as was the case today.
