About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

Sarah and I first met online, we were both pregnant with our little ones at the same time so Olivia and Jonah are very close in age (4 days apart I believe).  It was such a treat for me to get this family in front of my camera because I already felt that I knew them so well.  Olivia has this sweet but big and spunky personality and loved capturing her!  Sarah and Royal, thanks for traveling to Austin, I had a blast hanging out with you guys!

I put it off for so long, getting his hair cut.  One of my favorite things about him is the way his hair naturally flips up above his ear.  It’s sweet and simple and so so him.  He was looking very shaggy and we had photos with Libby coming up.  It needed to be done, but I won’t lie, I totally regret it.  Which is weird because I didn’t regret a single hair cut, first or otherwise with the other 3 kids.  Maybe it’s because we lost so much of the red hair, it’s much more blonde underneath now that it is shorter.  It’s been a month, and I still kinda regret it, he looks so big and different.  It’s […]

Christian Christmas Book Advent

I have been wanting to do this for years and I finally got organized enough before busy season hit to actually pull it off this year.  I really enjoyed researching and looking for books that have a Christian, Jesus focused, tone to them.  I started buying books in September, a few a week to spread out the cost.  To save money, you could easily hit Half Price Books or other discount book stores.  I didn’t have a ton of time to enjoy the thrill of the hunt so I ordered most of mine online.  I ordered the number labels for each book from this Etsy seller.  Once all the books […]
