About Lyndsay Stradtner

Lyndsay Stradtner and I am a natural light photographer with 14 years experience. While home is Austin, Texas, my family and I are currently traveling the US in an RV full time. Yes, we sold our 2,400 square foot home for a 400 square foot RV and couldn’t be happier about it! While our initial goal was to travel full time for one year, that quickly turned in to (at least) 3 years. I am married to a really great guy named Jason. With 5 kids (Ty, Taryn, Jude, Jonah and Zachary) and 2 dogs (Maggie and Pepper), our lives are filled with laughter and chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Be sure to check us out on Etsy, Instagram and YouTube.

In the moment

I struggle with whether to bring my big camera on simple walks and small adventures. Mostly because I want to be in the moment. The other night I caught a photo of Jason walking Maggie in this spot with my cell and I just had to bring Z back with my real camera before we checked out of this campground. ⠀

Lake Conroe

Our visit to Lake Conroe just north of Houston brought us one of our favorite spots to date. Just outside our front door was a hill the kids loved. Especially after their dad showed them they could ride their scooters down it. They fished in the pond at the top of the hill allllll week long. And Z loved the field and extra outside time.

The sky put on a show today.

cloudst We didn’t expect much out of our one night in Wichita Falls. A stay in a state park and a big trip to the health food store to stock up for a week. But man, did the sky put on a show today. Sun and rain and a rainbow and beams and some wicked cool clouds. We were all impressed Wichita Falls! I think this looks like a painting….I’m totally going to have each of the kids paint this photo as an art lesson. ⠀
