My sweet friend Jane recently turned 4. That means I met her and her amazing family for the first time a year ago. Time flies and I can’t help but think back to our first session together and all the memories we’ve captured this past year. It’s been an honor. Jane always makes me smile…

Fall is here. Austin has been a devine place to live this week with blue skies, crisp cool air, packed parks filled with kids and moms not sweating from the heat, and blessed long naps from said kids being tired from all the fresh air. We are all opening our doors and windows and peeking out to take big deep breaths in. There are actual people who live in all these houses with the AC running 24 /7. Man oh man, marveling over the miracle of life and birth, just after a baby arrives, it gets me every time I see it. So beautiful.
He arrived on his due date and he gave his momma her wish: he weighed under 10 lbs. (just a teeny, tiny, smidge under 10 lbs. but it still counts). His birth order will bring him great joy and laughter as he has 3 fun, energetic, filled with personality, siblings ready to fill him with love.
