Awhile back I ran a special for in home lifestyle sessions this summer. The timing was perfect, it is 9,000 degrees outside, I’m very pregnant and I’ve been dying to photograph more families at home. Boots, belly and curls?! Yes please! I love hanging out with this family. We channeled their last maternity session, just a little bit. The sweet baby boy in that bump was a dream to photograph, I can’t wait to come back and share their newborn session!

I spent my morning hanging out with one of the most fun families in Austin. These two little boys had so much energy and so much personality, I could have photographed them all day long! They ran and explored and climbed hills, spotted minnows in the pond and even hit the splash pad when we were done. It was an adventure for sure. I think the top image is my favorite of the day. Little man was peeking over the edge to look for minnows when he turned to look right at me, I just love it. Thanks for adventure this morning C Family, I had a blast!!

Y’all. I love chunky babies. So much that sometimes I have to check myself and stop from reaching over, while photographing, to pinch the chub, cheeks, etc. This was one of those sessions. The cheeks, oh the cheeks. And the rubber band wrists and dimpled elbows, swoon! Can I go ahead and put in a request that this baby I’m carrying around be a chunk? Please?! If granted, it might keep me from pinching other peoples children LOL!

Kellan was quite the little rock star for his newborn session. Happy and calm unless we were messing with him and making him change! He loved the camera and spent a big part of his session looking directly at it….little ham in the making already! Congrats Michael and Becky, he’s absolutely adorable!!
