There are so many things that I love about these….

How simple and easy and real this session was.
That this family had just moved and they were still unpacking, but you can tell looking at their gallery.
That this is the first session I used only things that I’ve knitted.
This big sister LOVES being a big sister. She gave me so much time to photograph her with her baby sister, I almost didn’t know what to do with myself, I didn’t have to hurry for the often troublesome toddler newborn pics!

Yesterday I made the trip to Houston to meet this handsome little guy. He was sooooooo good for his session, sleepy and agreeable the entire time I was there at 11 days new. In fact, we had to do everything we could to get a few wide eyed shots before I left!

Congratulations Amber and Levi, it was such a pleasure to capture your sweet family yesterday!

If there is one thing I absolutely love about my job it is watching families grow. It seems like yesterday I was at their house photographing big brother as a newborn. There are so many things I love about this session, simple, filled with love and beautiful moments. I love that she has sweet chubby cheeks, just like her big brother did. I love the way her hair swirls on the back of her head. I love the sweet kisses from her momma and the way her daddy holds her. I love the way her hands form a little heart up by her face.
