Cubing Nationals!

Our daily view. This kid has worked so hard at speed cubing and he qualified for the national competition in Pittsburgh that starts tomorrow. Not only did he qualify, he was notified a few weeks ago that he’s a featured competitor and will be front and center on the live stream for his main event!! We are so proud of him! So many decisions we made this year where to make sure Jude and Jonah made it to nationals. Taryn and Jude hit the trails today. My mom gifted her a horseback riding adventure for her 18th birthday and we found a stable just up the road from where we are staying. Taryn used to ride every week and definitely misses it! Very much her happy place!

I was trying to take a photo of Taryn’s birthday sign, but Maggie stole the show. No one tell her it’s time to adult. We love that she still acts like a puppy at the ripe old age of 12.

ps – I have decided to go for trying another 365 project while attempting to recover from bilateral adhesive capsilitis. It’ll be filled with more every day life in the RV, less travel destinations and I am offering myself a ton of flexabilty and grace to pick up the camera when it’s healthy to do so.
