I’ve been incredibly blessed to get to photograph the birth of each of these beautiful children. And while a lot of us had boy vibes at the birth, it was still such a fun surprise to see a boy enter their family! He is quite the squish, weighing in at over 10 lbs. I was super excited that they asked me to do their newborn session as well and oh my goodness, this chubby baby boy was so fun to photograph. He’s absolutely adored by every single person in their family and I hope their gallery reflects just how much he’s loved.
I knew it was going to be a great session with the very first photos were smiley. This family has the best smiles! Big brother and sister were just the sweetest with their new baby brother. They loved on him so much and it was so sweet to see.
Isn’t he just the cutest with his sweet little smile and red hair?! As much as we photographers focus on sleepy babies, I love it when newborns are this alert….he just loved the camera so much!
When Libby had Joshua I offered to go up to the hospital and do a Fresh 48 session for her. She’s also a photographer and we often swap sessions. She decided to keep it to just her, Greg and Joshua knowing we’d get photos of the boys together at their newborn session. It was so fun to share these with her, she messaged me right back and said “I had no idea how much these would mean to me!” I love that. I think so many mommas feel that way and it’s one of the reasons I love my job so very much. Joshua changed so much in just the few days between his Fresh 48 and newborn session. I’m pretty sure he got even cuter….if that’s possible!
I could not wait for this session….I was so curious to meet Bowen and see if he looks just like his big sister. At first I thought they look pretty different, but my goodness, thumbing through their proofs I think they look so similar! It’ll be really interesting to see how much he’s changed in just a few weeks at his next session. Congrats M family! I’m so thrilled your baby boy is in your loving arms!
She’s here! And it was so amazing to watch their dreams become a reality! They fought for so long to get her here and it was absolutely amazing to watch them become a family of 4! As predicted, I totally cried. I’m so happy for them!!
I absolutely love doing “Fresh 48” sessions! They occur in the hospital after the birth but before the family heads home. You’d be surprised how much babies change in those first few days! They will look so different by the time a newborn sessions happens! Ms. Ruby is my newest baby planner and I’m so excited to get to photograph her first year. Unfortunately, I had to hire someone to cover her newborn session for me because I suffered a bad fall and foot injury during another newborn session the day after these photos were taken. My photog friend Tara did a beautiful job, but it was so hard for me to not be able to be there to photograph Ruby as a newborn. That hair and those eyes, she’s so dreamy and perfect! I just love all of her facial expressions!
I took a road trip down to San Antonio today to photograph this sweet little bundle. At first, I didn’t think he looked all that much like his big sister, but the second I looked through my lens, I changed my mind. I can’t wait to watch him grow this year, I love my little baby planners!
More Grandparents, love it!! And it was fun getting to photograph a sweet little newborn at one of my most favorite outdoor locations. You’ll be seeing a lot of this super sweet family in 2016! I can’t wait to watch him grow!!
This little guy was so sleepy, and oh so very loved. His momma is an animator and I absolutely love that she wanted to include animation books in their session, so sweet!
In 10 years of business, this little sweetheart is by far the most smiley little newborn I’ve ever photographed! I lost count how many smiles were thrown my way….love!
