Follow along as we make the long trek from Maine to Texas – 2100 miles in 13 travel days. We stop and see friends along the way – we even run out of gas! It’s always an adventure and we are soaking it all in since we don’t know when or if we will be back on the road anytime soon.
Follow along as these night owls attempt a very early morning rise to see the first rays of light on the eastern seaboard on Cadillac Mountain. Did we all make it? Spoiler: one of us did NOT! We also see Thunder Hole, hike Jordon Pond / The Bubbles and drive over to the Schoodic Peninsula. Oh! And there was a run in with a raccoon and a bald eagle! Follow along as we spend time at the beach in the cutest little towns including Wells, Ogunquit and Portland, Maine. We also decide to try lobster and clams. Taryn declared herself a vegan for a solid 2 days afterward and Lyndsay was totally grossed out by the clams. We also see several lighthouses and a whale! Summer in Maine is off to a beautiful start!
Follow along as we take our super fun kid out for a day of super big fun! Jonah is an active, adrenaline seeking, guy! As Jonah’s parents, we have learned that we need to offer him safe ways to seek adrenaline! Plus, as a middle child in our family, he’s not one of the “big kids” and he’s not the baby. He handles that super well and we wanted to reward him with a day of fun, with no big kids to boss him around and no baby to slow him down!
