We made the deal. We received our “yellow letter” from the LRA (Louisiana Road Home Agency) which is responsible for distributing and overseeing all the money that Congress allotted to Katrina and Rita victims. Overall it’s a good thing. We were given three choices and our decision was clear. Our three options included, rebuild, sell to the State and live in Louisiana or sell to the State and move out of State, each option came with a different dollar figure. Welcome to the blog of Lyndsay Pfenning Stradtner and my family, Jason Stradtner, Tyler & Taryn.  Thanks for bearing with me as I make yet another move!  I love typepad and am happy to make it my new blogging home.  I’m not too crazy about the new banner…what do you guys think?  I don’t know why I have such a hard time designing banners but I do.  Maybe I need to do a photoshoot with designing a banner in mind??

A little bit about how I got here….

I’ve been taking pictures as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until Hurricane Katrina stole many of my personal photographs and printed memories that photography took on a new meaning to me. Our family lost almost everything to the storm and while we started to recover, my need to capture new memories was in full force as our daughter was still a baby.
