When I photographed Philip this weekend he had the coolest sand and water table.  We’ve been thinking about getting Taryn one and when I came home and showed Jason the one Philip has, he picked one up while birthday shopping for one of Ty’s friends at Toys-R-Us on Sunday.  Yesterday our fireplace was torn out so we were trapped into the dining room, den area and outside for the day.  Jason put her table together and I pressure washed the back porch.  I LOVE it that she can go outside in the backyard now that Jason fixed the fence.  We had to drag her inside at dusk kicking and screaming.  First thing this morning "Mommy, outside!?  Water?!?!" figuring it all […]

love of my life finally….someone thinks I’m hilarious Even with all our furniture piled into one room because we’re getting ready for fireplace demo tomorrow, Ty found a place to stretch out with a book…. As I tucked Taryn into bed tonight, she amazed me once again.  Jason was in the living room cutting plastic sheeting and tearing tape to put up in all the doorways for tomorrow.  It went something like this…. Just had to log in and say what an amazing day I had today.  I am so so so psyched about the project I am working on. Kristen, Patrick & Philip, thank you, thank you, thank you!  You guys are such good sports!  Thank you so much for volunteering today, giving so much of yourselves and allowing me to glimpse into your lives for a little while!  I had a blast!! 

I am in love with this shot.  I can’t honestly say that I have ever been this taken by a black and white tutu photo.  Tutu pics are usually all about the color, but to me this one just seems so delicate and girly in black and white.  I love the way the tutu fades with the conversion and it looks so pretty at full resolution.  I have the urge to print it up as a sample….what do you guys think?
