So, so, so excited about this! Here are a few of the photos we ordered from our session with Michele. Right in our entryway, first thing you see when you walk through the front door. The Stradtners. All of us. Even me. That’s a big deal. To me it is.

Sorry for the cruddy pic, it was hard to get with the narrow entry and afternoon glare. Overall it consists of a 10×20, two 11×14’s, two 8×10’s and three 5×7’s. Guilty confession….I had all the frames in my secret frame stash (insert my husband snorting here – he’s annoyed by my […]

to be in her arms. . . . .

this little one has an amazing birth story, they barely made it to the hospital on time.  what a crazy, wonderful experience all rolled in to one, i can only imagine.  he sure does look cozy in her arms doesn’t he?  can’t really blame him then for being in such a hurry.  during her maternity shoot, I captured this shot, one of my favorite all time momma shots, but gosh I love this one too.  I think it’s just knowing what a graceful, kind, soft spoken mother she is.  Congratulations again K family, it was such a joy to photograph your […]

Amazing people who are awesome at what they do at every table, good food, great music and just a total honor to be there with the very best that Austin has to offer. I was […]

1.  last night after a long day, the house was finally quiet.  i plopped into my favorite chair to sit down to work for awhile and wham, i smell smoke.  i start to hear a popping sound and i realize the smoke is coming from my laptop charger.  great, another one down the drain.  7th one in 3 years, grrrrrr.  so i was off line all day today and my wonderful husband drove all the way to south austin to buy the only two chargers for our old version laptops in any apple store in the region.  god love him.

2.  i entertained myself today by torturing teagan….he wasn’t in the mood for once.  a little while before this he took […]

She been tough to capture here lately.  We go through waves of cooperation, we’re in a low.  But, here she is none the less.  99.9% of the time she’s full of energy, imagination, spunky….my little spitfire.  It’s an odd mix because she’s also shy and timid in new situations.  Hides under the table when the doorbell rings.  Fears loud noises. Looks just like her daddy.  Lover of animals.  And fruit snacks.  And art projects.  Asks to go to Seaworld, and Petsmart almost every day.  Loves to help.  She is learning to write her name, that thrills her.  Loves her monkey scissors more than just about anything.  Every time she uses […]
