undiscovered

Have you seen the video on Vivian Maier? She was an undiscovered street photographer between the 1950’s and 1990’s and oh my word this has me so intrigued. All that work, everything she saw, everything she created and she didn’t even develop all of it. Can you imagine all those rolls of film?! They are seeing things she never saw through. Forty years of work. I cannot imagine. And her work, just wow. I think she’ll find her place in history and the rest of us will get to watch as the raw beauty unfolds. It makes me wonder who else is out there that doesn’t share their gifts, or talents […]

1.  Hey Photogs, is anyone going to Imaging USA?  I will be at the expo on Monday and I’d love to meet up and say hi!  I’m super excited about the fact that I might finally get to meet THE Erin Cobb!  I’ve been hoping for our paths to cross for years!

2.  I am thinking about opening up a few mini sessions on January 29th or February 5th – just in time for Valentines Day.  Any takers?  Email me at lstradtner@mac.com for details!

3.  I feel like I owe a bit of an explanation about my poor fell asleep on the kitchen counter hubby.  He really was asleep like that and I was shocked to find him that way.  I […]

Man it has been awhile since I posted a 10 on Tuesday.  It’s not Tuesday, but I’m awake and have half of my wits about me so here we go….

1.  Kindergarten & 7th grade:

Could they be any taller?!?!  Time flies.  Be sure you click that link, it’s worth it just for the laugh.  It gets me every.single.year.

2.  As the first week of school is about to come to a close, I have more stories and one liners from Taryn than I can wrap my mind around.  Her first day went really well.  She was really nervous, but also very excited that morning.  All 5 of us actually managed to get […]
