Taryn discovered her shadow yesterday. She was playing in the den on the new dark blue rug my mom gave us when I noticed her moving her hands around and watching her shadow follow. I love watching her learn something new, you can see a look of amazement in her eyes, it happens several times a day it seems. I love it even more when I catch it with my camera.

Well….sorta. Could those little chubby thighs be any cuter?? I took this a few weeks ago and just got around to proofing it tonight. My mom found the little chef’s outfit and Taryn got the kitchen for Christmas. She loves it, plays with it every single day. She cooks and stirs and cuts pretend veggies and washes dishes, complete with her own sound effects, lol.
