i love him. he IS captain awesome.

uhm, is it just me or does he look really big all of a sudden?! i fell in love with this sweatshirt the second I spotted it on the clearance rack.

and did you notice he went blonde? it was weird, he got up one day a few weeks ago and Jase and I both looked at him, then each other and said, “what happened?!?!” it literally happened overnight.

Hi, I’m Ty. I am doing a project for my math class. I have to take a poll and my mom said I could use her blog. Hello, blog people. It is a data collection project. 1. Taryn shocked us all just 1 day after breaking her arm when she sat down and wrote out the entire alphabet with ease with her left hand. She’s right handed!

Jase was watching her and told her how “awesome” she is that she can do that. Still on a lot of pain meds, she absolutely fell apart…..”d-d-d-d-d-d-don’t c-c-c-c-c-c-call meeeee awe-some”. Poor girl, she had an emotional few days that required lots of love, hugs and an unreal amount of patience.

I’m still here. Just not sure where to start or what to say. Not very many good things have been going on, so I’ve found myself a bit speechless around here. I don’t think my blog has been this quiet in a loooooong time. Especially with so much going on at home. But to say the events of the last few weeks have kicked my butt would not quite cut it. home from the ER, once again.

This has been a horrible, horrible week for our family. Earlier this week Teagan was rushed to the ER for breathing issues (full story in my post below). We’ve been struggling to keep Taryn well enough to have surgery next week. It was just supposed to be to have her tonsils and adenoids removed but through the entire nightmare that is surgery pre-op workups, blood work, audiology exams, cultures, etc., we found out the surgery will be more extensive that we initially hoped. Her ENT said this is one of the worst cases she’s seen in a very long time, her adenoids are so huge they are all but blocking off the area behind her nose. Her tonsils are almost […]

I just wanted to post really quick to say I haven’t totally disappeared. If you’ve emailed me or called and haven’t gotten a reply, I will get back to you. Everything went crazy when Taryn & Teagan started to not feel very well. I went in to check on Teagan around 10:30 pm last night and his breathing sounded off. We tried to move him to his side to see if that helped but it just woke him up and he started with a coughing fit.
