:::I drafted this post a few weeks ago and totally forgot to hit publish.  whoops:::

I was laying in the hall, all ninja like, taking a photo of T sitting and reading a book.  I wasn’t even sure if she knew I was there.  When I clicked the shutter, she spotted me and gave me about a minute of her sassy, fun, little self….I think at first she was trying to hide, but once I laughed at her, it was all over 😉

annnnnnnd, done!

Pillow came from this Etsy seller.  Love it.

Oh this makes me laugh.  This shot was totally unprompted, I just happened to have my camera in hand when I rounded the corner and found her like this.  Homegirl has been getting up at the crack of dawn, sneaking across the house and swiping my iphone off my nightstand.  She then proceeds to hide in her closet with the door closed and play games on it.  How do we know this you ask?  Jase woke me up the other morning stating he couldn’t find Taryn anywhere.  We knew she was in the house because the alarm was on.  Once found, she looked annoyed we’d interrupted her.  Whatev.  Soooo, now she’s […]

1.  I tried hard to pretend today that we weren’t preparing for surgery for our baby on the second Easter in a row.  It got to me, no matter how much I tried not to let it.  Having children with health problems is hard.  And those problems don’t go away on holidays.  Teagan’s surgery this week will be one year to the day of his surgery last year.

2.  We did manage to do a few fun things with the kids, we died eggs, did an egg hunt in the front yard and we made our annual bunny cake…..I used to make this with my mom when I was a little girl…..

these are for my mom.  who *almost* never complains about never getting photos of the kids anymore.  or that I rarely even send the ones I do take.  or that she’s still waiting on me to proof all the photos from our trip to her house *last* summer.  or that all the walls in her big, new house at the beach are blank and awaiting to be a life in motion gallery, just like her old house was.  or that she was supposed to see the kids over spring break, but I took on too much work to be able to go.  she certainly has more patience with me than I would if I were her.  I know that she […]

1.  It seems I am sinking.  I have a hard drive full of images that need some love and attention so that I can send them off to my clients.  I am super behind…on everything, editing, email, voicemail, packaging orders, etc.  If you are waiting on me for something, I’m sorry, I’m coming, I promise!  Between Jason going out of town last weekend and being on my own with the boys, Teagan’s health issues and my kids being off for spring break, figuring out summer camps, signing up for dance classes, trips to the doctor and dentist…..I’m sinking.  If you’re waiting on proofs from me, head on over to the Life in Motion Facebook Fanpage and look for a […]

It was just me and boys this weekend.  Jase took Taryn down to Corpus to go to a wedding.  I’ll confess….I loved it.  That probably sounds horrid, but I did.  It was quiet and peaceful and drama free.  Teagan threw one fit all weekend and it was because he was overtired.  There was next to no whining out of him either, which was awesome.  Taryn brings so many wonderful things to our family….and along with those things come the noise.  I don’t think I fully comprehended the noise level she contributes until this weekend.  I’ve also realized that we really need to address her issues with being so demanding….my eyes were […]
