Check it out!  Little T and Kylie ((our dog)) are in the greeting card aisle!!!

I was commissioned by a card company last year and I am so excited to partner with them in the future as well.  They purchased two images for their most recent release and I just got the box of samples in the mail yesterday!!!!  So, if you are in the US, Canada, Australia or Ireland and you see my cuties in the greeting card aisle….give a wink and a smile for me!!

While I am out of the park thrilled about this, Little T is not.  When I showed her the cards it just brought back traumatic […]

1. I did three photo sessions with Teagan trying to get the perfect birthday invitation photo only to end up using a snapshot.  Go figure.  Ah well, it’s done and sent to the printer.  Happy about that.  I’ll share after his party.

2.  One of those photo sessions included the 1 year old right of passage.  He totally dug it.  It was awesome.

3.  An outtake at the end, he looks so tickled with himself doesn’t he?  The end involved throwing of the cake….his party should be interesting LOL!

4.  This shot cracks me up.  Sing it with me…..”one of these things is […]

what?….did you think I was photographing fruit or something??  ha.

i tried out the pioneer woman’s bw action on this one.  i like it, which says alot, because I always have a hard time converting anything with red in it and being happy with the results.  yeah, i’m probably the last person on the planet to discover her and get hooked on her blog.  i think i heard somewhere she was in austin awhile back or something and clicked on her blog out of curiousity.  i’ve been a blog stalker ever since…..

love these two from yesterday too…..

so many things i want to remember….ok, a few I don’t want to remember like Teagan cutting his first tooth, everyone being really sick, ear infections…..but I digress…

knowing that buying less gifts this year didn’t change us or the meaning of christmas . the excitement in the air as the grandparents arrived . watching the wonder in teagan’s eyes with each new experience . he was just as happy with the bow on the box as he was with the gift in the box . christmas jammies with names on the hiney . pretty red monogrammed dresses . the kids love uncle scott more than santa . watch t run […]

i’m a doggie. bark bark.

2009-01-11T18:34:07-06:00January 11th, 2009|My Family|

We hear this at least 20 times a day.  No exaggeration. It’s not the sound of a bark, it’s the word “bark”.  This has been going on for at least 6 months, probably longer.  Her imagination and the ways she uses being a dog, never cease to amaze me, she’s a smart cookie doggie.

Anyway, yesterday, I had plans to take Ty and Taryn off shopping while Jase stayed home with Teagan so he could nap.  Ty decided not to go, which suprised me.  When Taryn and I got back, we found out why.  He built our little doggie a dog house.  How sweet is he?!  Gosh I just love him.

she’s at it again

last night, well after midnight, jase was painting the kids playroom and i was working when we heard taryn’s bedroom door open.  sometimes she gets up to go to the bathroom, so we waited and listened.  sure enough, a flush followed and then we heard her bedroom door again.  we chatted about what a good girl she is and then went back to our projects.  around 2 i’m sleeping on the couch with my head on my laptop when jase wakes me up and tells me taryn fell asleep in the hallway.  i asked him if he’d moved her yet….”my wife is a photographer, are you kidding me?!”  LOL

is my […]
