a couple of notes….

we don’t normally let teagan watch this close to the tv, just for video sake 😉

excuse my messy house.

i can’t stand the way i laugh.

i edited out the part where taryn karate chopped me in the head kungfoo style.

i believe taryn has ants in her pants.

and a chocolate milk mustache.

and bed head.

she’s pretty much a mess.

but the dude, he’s got some mad moves.

i am now going back to being a vegetable on the couch (i had oral surgery this morning – ick).

while laying in bed, trying to convince myself to get up and start the day, taryn is laying on the floor next to me….in her best fancy nancy voice….

“ohhhhhhh myyyyyyyy, the beauty shop is on fiiiiiiiiire”

it wasn’t until after she toddled off and i actually got up and out of bed that i realized she was reading “Star Wars: The Guide to Spacecraft and Vehicles”. the page was turned to the death star. somehow i highly doubt the death star had a beauty salon.

is anyone else living with a fancy nancy right now? it’s the butterfly one that comes back to bite me…..the other day I told her “No” when she asked for something and she threw back […]

1. Alright, my little blog break is officially over. I’m back! So here we go…..

2. In spite of my last two blog posts, I do actually feed my child things other than cupcakes and cake. Swear.

3. My mom’s visit was great, it was so nice to have her here for Teagan’s birthday. Of course, it ended too soon. I am so, so happy to report that Teagan has seen the light and has fallen totally in love with the gee. As in, go right to her, climb up in her lap, big wet smoochies and hugs, in love. Finally.

ty and i took teagan out this morning to take his birthday photos. my normally happy, love the camera, look at me and smile boy was in a bad mood. just got off a round of steroids and he has not been a happy little camper. it was funny to come home to a card full of scowls and bad moods, so not him. ah well, it is what it is. not sure if i’ll have time to take any more this week, lots going on. i think we’ll call this one roid rage lol….

poor little guy, he just wasn’t happy at all….

1. Now that I’m working again, I have grown to dread Mondays. Mondays I wake up to a messy house, clothes everywhere, dishes everywhere, just a mess that is the result of mom being gone all weekend long. It takes all week to recover and then it happens all over again. Am I the only one that feels like it takes me all week long to recover from the weekend? I don’t think I’ve felt like that since college lol.

2. Taryn has learned the art of schmoozing. Exhibit A:

T: Mommy, you are so pretty.

T: Can I have some milk?
