Teagan is doing really well. I don’t think we fully realized just how bad he felt before his surgery, we can see a huge difference in him already. He’s all over the place, into everything, talking lots and even body slammed his sister yesterday. It was as though he’d been waiting till he felt better, and when he did, watch out girlfriend, take that! It’s funny to see a little of it come back to her now and then, cause boy can she dish it out!! She didn’t even know what to do when he slammed in to her, all she could do was laugh.

what we did today…..

a little spur of the moment egg hunt. i decided to grab the bunny suit on a whim and when i mentioned to ty it was in the trunk, he jumped on the opportunity. i was shocked and the girls were thrilled. he was pretty funny and it fit him way better than expected. he’s such a good sport! not only did he wear the bunny with pride, he also packed our picnic lunch and hid all the eggs down at our neighborhood park for the other kids. i love him.

seems like i’ve been posting lots about teagan lately. the girl is still here mixing things up the way she does. keeps the boys on their toes. i love this shot of her….

i am feeling antsy this afternoon. my session for tonight got rescheduled and it is gorgeous outside. once the kids wake up and jase gets home i want to get outside and do something. not sure what, but something.

I desperately need a new profile photo for my about me section on my new website (it is almost done – yay!) and it was at the top of my to-do list for this weekend. I really wanted to avoid the traditional headshot because I feel pretty uncomfortable on the other side of the camera. I decided it would be much more fun and reflective of ‘me’ to have a few family photos…..and that’s when it hit me……let’s do photo booth pics! Sooooo us. Silly, goofy & spontaneous! We had a blast! After a long morning, it was (((finally))) naptime. After quite a bit of encouraging I shuffled Taryn in to her room to lay down….

Taryn: Mom, you NEED to read me a book.

Mom: Taryn, it’s not nice to tell mommy what to do. You should ask nicely.

Taryn: But you NEED to read me a book RIGHT NOW.

Mom: Taryn, I’m not going to read you a book unless you can ask politely. It makes mommy sad when you talk to me that way.

Taryn: OH! Well then I will give you a hug.
