kung poo in action

I realize I should not be encouraging this, but I had to capture it.  This is what we live with, all day, everyday.  Kung Poo Panda as she calls it.  She’s got moooooves.  It’s pretty funny when I instigate it and I’m ready for it, but when I’m minding my own business and get sneak attacked from behind 862 times a day, not so funny.

Not long after this video, Teagan karate chopped her in the eye and gave her a shiner.  I think we’ve got to put a stop to the Kung Poo.  Or at least try.  She ratted herself out […]

Y’all are totally cracking me up with your giveaway entries!  Oh man, I can’t even pick out favorites, too many laughs today!  Keep those entries coming until Friday!  If you visit on google reader, head on over and read the comments, worth the extra click, promise!  And yay for all the lurkers coming out of hiding.

A quick photo of little T.  I tricked her into this shot.  My 5DMII went in to Canon for a little TLC and I got it back this morning.  I coerced Little T into a few test shots for me, bedhead and all.  She was thrilled with this idea, can’t ya tell?

Dear Taryn,

You are not a dog.  No amount of barking, wagging your tail or licking will make you a dog.  While I normally embrace your imagination and pretend play, I have officially reached my wits end.  I am a germ-o-phobe and having a daughter who licks everything is driving me insane.  Stop it.  It is gross.  There is no amount of sanitizer than will make it better.  If the swine flu continues to spread through Texas, you will find your little barking, tail wagging, licking everything in sight, self quarantined to your dog house.

Love,

Your Mother.

…thanked a friend.

…cried reading a gracious email giving me more credit than I could ever deserve.  I cried again when one of my clients called me through tears herself.  I am so grateful.

…finished up a week of doing at least one nice, extra, little thing for my husband each day.

…found myself wandering around the house saying “where is Teagan??” way to many times.  That kid is everywhere.

…am thankful Teagan’s follow up appointment for his surgery went so well.  In fact, it couldn’t have gone any better.

…am working on Mother’s Day gifts.

…have thought about picking up my camera to capture little moments during our day, but haven’t done it yet.

…can’t get the scorpion that was in.my.house yesterday out of my mind.  […]

road trip

2009-04-26T20:46:40-05:00April 26th, 2009|My Family|

after the worst road trip in the history of stradtner road trips last summer, we swore off going anywhere with our kids for a long time.  which is saying a lot, because we love to travel.  we used to just take off exploring all the time when it was just me, jase and ty. this time, we got smart, we fed the beasts, bathed them and put them in their jammies before heading out.  less complaining, less potty stops and easier on us.  we both cracked up when this popped up on our GPS…

we decided to stop and get a few things for the road before the kids konked out […]
