Sometimes when I download photos of Taryn, I just sit at my computer and laugh and shake my head. This batch was no exception. What the heck is this?!?! What is she doing?! Searching for cooperation….cause there was none of that to be found, believe you me!

Apparently, its hilarious. Weird kid I tell ya. But I love her.

I was laying in the hall, all ninja like, taking a photo of T sitting and reading a book. I wasn’t even sure if she knew I was there. When I clicked the shutter, she spotted me and gave me about a minute of her sassy, fun, little self….I think at first she was trying to hide, but once I laughed at her, it was all over 😉

Oh this makes me laugh. This shot was totally unprompted, I just happened to have my camera in hand when I rounded the corner and found her like this. Homegirl has been getting up at the crack of dawn, sneaking across the house and swiping my iphone off my nightstand. But you do. I was just cleaning out a box in our closet because we are having our bedroom painted in two weeks and it’s going to take us that long to clean it out and get it ready. At the very bottom of the box was a paper, neatly folded. I almost cried when I opened it up. 1. I tried hard to pretend today that we weren’t preparing for surgery for our baby on the second Easter in a row. It got to me, no matter how much I tried not to let it. Having children with health problems is hard. And those problems don’t go away on holidays. Teagan’s surgery this week will be one year to the day of his surgery last year.

2. We did manage to do a few fun things with the kids, we died eggs, did an egg hunt in the front yard and we made our annual bunny cake…..I used to make this with my mom when I was a little girl…..
