1. Teagan weaned. All on his own. Cold turkey. A week ago Friday. I’m sad. And proud. I can look at him right now and say, I grew that. Look what I did. And I’m proud of that. But I miss it. Horribly. Probably doesn’t help that since he went cold turkey that I’m in a lot of pain. Thanks little dude. If y’all hear about a cow exploding just north of Austin, no worries, it’s just me. Seriously though, tough time, end of an era. I’m trying to focus on the positives…like getting my thyroid rechecked and under control. When it landed on our doorstep this afternoon, Ty’s chest swelled up with pride. I’m proud of him. And LOOK! That is me with my babies!

Can I just say……whoooooo-weeee that’s a big ole belly!

Ty took the winning photo of Taryn and I when I was pregnant with Teagan. I’ll never forget this photo, mostly because I was cracking up. Teagan was breach and waited until almost the very end to turn. Every day, several times a day, Taryn would yell into my belly button, “HEAD DOWN BOY, HEAD DOWN”….and that’s what she was doing right before Ty snapped this shot. We do little interviews every so often with Taryn asking her questions about her name, her favorite color, her best friend, etc. I’m not even sure what to say to this little gem. Except of course that she is a total crack up.
