1.  We had a great Memorial Day weekend filled with great friends and food and several parties and long walks and longer naps (even for me!) and tired kiddos.  Perfect way to start the summer.

2.  Teagan has mastered the art of the evil laugh.  Cutest.Thing.Ever.  I’ve got to get it on video.

3.  You know what this equals?

Lots of this….

yeah buddy!

4.  He’s cutting four, FOUR, teeth at once right now.  Ouch.

5.

6.  If you are thinking about booking a session this summer, contact me soon!  My calendar is just about full, with just a […]

this is bad.  i’m not ready.  i just want to scream nooooooooo from the rooftop.

taryn was on the back porch, blowing bubbles.  when teagan got done with his snack, he ran over to the back door and started to yell at her.  of course hoping she’d let him out (not a chance, she likes to torture him like that).  i thought he looked cute standing there, so i grabbed my camera off the shelf nearby…

when all of a sudden…

no no no

i’m not ready for this little dude.  i enjoy keeping you out of […]

1.  I caught this the other day when I arrived at this location a little early.

2.  This is amazing.  Anne shared this with me and it says so much.  He articulates so much about how I feel about photography.  Seeing not just the light, but the light in people.  Finding yourself in your work, recognizing your vision, being open, seeing and embracing what is around you instead of trying to make it perfect, giving of yourself and celebrating what is right.  It’s 20 minutes long, but by far the best 20 minutes I’ve spent on the web in quite a while.  Worth it.

3.  I love this.

4.  We’ve […]

because I never want to forget this

tonight was movie night.

cheap frozen pizzas we ate in the living room, rare for us.

freshly bathed kiddos.

sleeping bags, pillows, blankies.

a big bowl of popcorn.

we all layed on the floor in a row, all lined up to watch ‘bolt’

and one precious baby boy.

he got up and went from one person to the next.

kissing us each on the head with a loud “MWAH”.

and when he got to the end of the line, he’d go back and start at the beginning.

and do it all over again.

cutest thing ever.

While my Mom was here for Mother’s Day she had the idea to take a girls day and go get pedicures.  We took Taryn along and it was not her first time having her nails painted (her daddy is normally in charge of that) but it was her first time going to a ‘salon’.  And by ‘salon’ I mean the place tucked into the parking lot of HEB lol.  Little T was all over it, so excited to leave the boys behind.  Until we got to the door, she stopped and I could see her nose squish up from the smell.  We got her in the door though and her first job was to pick out polish.  Soooooo many choices.  […]

cry for help

2009-05-12T13:12:53-05:00May 12th, 2009|My Family|

There is a beast in our house and it has been here as long as I can remember.  And I want it out.  Or contained.  Or tamed.  Something has to change and I’m desperate for help.

It’s ugly.

It’s paper.  It drives me insane.  The mail, the papers from school, bills, magazines.  It was bad before we started our business but now it is downright out of control.  Bills from vendors, client contracts, maps to locations, quickbooks reports, receipts.  We are drowning.  At this moment we have no less than 10 stacks in our house worse than the one above.  Not including my desk, or the cabinet packed to the gills with paper […]
