Oh this makes me laugh. This shot was totally unprompted, I just happened to have my camera in hand when I rounded the corner and found her like this. Homegirl has been getting up at the crack of dawn, sneaking across the house and swiping my iphone off my nightstand. But you do. I was just cleaning out a box in our closet because we are having our bedroom painted in two weeks and it’s going to take us that long to clean it out and get it ready. At the very bottom of the box was a paper, neatly folded. I almost cried when I opened it up. I had forgotten all about this….all about the time my first baby lost his first tooth….and it was quite a story. How could I forget?! Oh how I wish I had blogged back then. 1. I tried hard to pretend today that we weren’t preparing for surgery for our baby on the second Easter in a row. It got to me, no matter how much I tried not to let it. Having children with health problems is hard. And those problems don’t go away on holidays. Teagan’s surgery this week will be one year to the day of his surgery last year.

2. We did manage to do a few fun things with the kids, we died eggs, did an egg hunt in the front yard and we made our annual bunny cake…..I used to make this with my mom when I was a little girl…..
