1. Yesterday was a wonderful day for me personally and professionally. Hearing so many comments, getting wonderful emails, but most of all, reading Michele’s wonderful words that brought me to tears. Very cool. Can I just tell y’all one more time how very much I love what I do?

2. We’re a bunch of sickies. Everyone but Ty. Well, and Taryn is at about 80%….just in time for both Jase and I to be sick and Teagan to be teething and sick. Sigh. I will be honest though. I’m not sure if I will be able to articulate my feelings in to this post, but I will try. Photographing births is such an amazing experience, I get to document a life changing right before my eyes, a first breath, the first moments of a new family, with pain, joy, and so many other emotions mixed inbetween. My last official session of 2008 is finished and what a way to top off the year. A huge thank you to this little guys family for being so, so patient in waiting for me to work through my computer / hard drive issues to be able to properly proof their sneak peek! Just 5 days new here and so dreamy….
