this is the one i was really afraid i wouldn’t make it in time. i’m always a bit nervous when i’m on call for a birth that i won’t make it. i try to be ready to go on a moments notice. but this one, i was really nervous. noelle walked around for weeks at 4+ cm dialated. i jumped every time my phone rang. i’m so thankful that it worked out i got to be there. a-maz-ing birth experience. i cried when she was born. and when i was proofing. and when i finished the slideshow. yeah, i’m a sap, but it really was just that amazing. this birth experience was fast. and intense. and filled with emotion. and […]

I’m really behind in blogging sessions so while the kids are all asleep and it’s nice and quiet, I thought I’d catch up a little bit between emails and catching up on proofing! You can see this little cuties sneak peek here (and here). Since his momma is a photographer I’m sure he’ll have tons and tons of pics but thanks Libby for letting me capture the first few days! for all the well wishes and prayers, we appreciate them more than you know.

teagan is doing well. we expected him to scream and cry when they took him from us to go into the OR but he did fantastic, not even a tear shed. coming out of surgery was another story. he was scared, in pain and very disoriented. but after lots of extra cuddles today and some extra rest, he’s doing very well. i will still be a little scarce and slow to reply to emails as my little man needs my attention and jase returns to a full day of work tomorrow. thanks again!
