I am so, so excited to share this birth.  Capturing births is one of my favorite parts of my job.  Each one is special and Izzy’s birth was no exception. A huge thank you to the family for allowing me to share their birth experience.  ((my clients always have a choice in deciding if they are comfortable sharing or not, 100% their decision))

This family was filled with so much love, so much laughter, it was so cool to capture so many little moments.  They were surrounded by siblings grandparents and family.  I hope I’ve done them justice.  A few favorites…..

I managed to sneak in a nice long nap before dinner.  Yeah buddy.  That never happens.  Thanks Jase for letting me sleep, I needed it.  Yet here I am at 12:39 am all wired.  Getting lots done though, finished proofing a session, uploaded a gallery, and a slideshow, placed two orders, burned a disk, packaged an order, answered a bunch of emails….whew, I wish I could nap every day.

I just dove in to proofing precious little Will.  Love this one….

a few weeks ago i was have a rough day.  i had made a decision that was not easy for me to make, but it was with my family at heart.  i believe i was judged unfairly and some people had some harsh and untrue things to say.  wallowing in it a bit, i sat at my computer feeling down.  i was surfing the web and came across a story about a family from dallas.  a family that has overcome […]

Remember awhile back when I got together with a great group of Austin women to do a group trash the dress session?  Well, one of my photog buddies, Libby, was supposed to be there that day.  Except, the morning of, Libby didn’t feel well.  Libby had the flu.  Well…..Libby thought she had the flu.  But what Libby really had….er, uhm, has…..is a Will….

haha!  Isn’t he just the most fabulous, squishy little thing ever?!?!  Congrats you guys!  We got some great shots today, can’t wait to show you the rest!  Oh, and for what it is worth, I totally thought Ty was the flu too!

I’m off to session #2 today here […]

I’ve had this session on the books for weeks, but try as we might, we had a hard time making it happen.  Texas has been having some wacky weather here lately, everything from 75 degrees to 35 degrees with wind advisories and even hail storms.  Crazy.  While it was pretty windy today, it was finally warm enough to venture out with a little bitty one.  We finally got to meet up tonight and I had such a good time with this sweet family.  I can’t look at these two photos and not smile….so happy to have captured these.  His Mom and Dad warned me it might be difficult to catch some smiles, but I brought my bag of tricks along […]
