My absolute most favorite thing about photographing my baby planners is that I get to see their new tricks and fun milestones every couple of months. Today, at 9 months old, Miss Joan was showing off her crawling, cruising and my personal favorite, waving and saying “hiiiiiiiiiiiii” to her parents, me and random strangers walking by. Babies are the best.
Every time I am around this family, it strikes me how much they all love one another. They wear it on their sleeves in a gentle, real, way. Jennifer is, hands down, one of the most amazing mothers I have ever met. I hope just hanging around her for a little while today that I was able to soak some of that in. I got fun little text messages from her parents leading up to this session that warned me she is really cute. and a poser. and totally perfect. at 11 days old, I have to agree, she is.
she rocked her session today with lots of sleep, sweet gazes into the camera, a few smiles, a lot of snuggles and and whole lot of sweetness.
and yes, i realize it isn’t very nice to not show you the insane amount of cuteness at the other end of the highchair photo, but trust me, it’ll be worth the wait!!
