I absolutely love this session, I had a hard time figuring out what to share. Jane is so sweet and bright. She’s filled with a million expressions and just such a happy girl. I was so hoping to capture that during our first session of many in the year to come.

I’ve been so blessed since moving to Austin in getting to know so many other wonderful photographers. I first met Sara through Michele and we all try and go out for a girls night out every few months. It’s awesome to have people I can talk shop with, run things by and just go out and have a great time. I cherish their friendship and they definitely help keep me sane! My session first thing this morning got rained out (boo) but I somehow managed to dodge the rain for my session schedule for tonight. First we went a little urban and then a quick drive later to my favorite field of wildflowers, a little country. sweet jane totally stole my heart this morning. like a big breath of fresh air, so bright, happy and curious. i’m feeling very blessed to get to watch her grow over the next year. jane is about to be a big sister and i’ll be capturing a year full of memories for her family, from the birth of their to new baby all the way to the first birthday. and i simply can’t wait.

I got to photograph this adorable family last fall and I was so excited when they booked for family photos this year too. A lot has changed, little miss A is a year older and looks like such a big girl now. And they have a new baby on the way, exciting times. I absolutely loved the light tonight, so pretty, but we had to work fast because it dropped off quick. Miss A walked right over and threw me a bunch of smiles straight away….color me impressed!
