I don’t get to photograph teenagers very often but I really enjoy it when I get the chance. I was totally impressed by these kids, the older two were so good with the baby, cooperative, polite and well mannered, really cool kids.

i love this shot, i love how the light hits them. i love how he’s in focus, yet his momma’s beauty still shines through. there is something about becoming a mother that makes women more beautiful, even when the focus isn’t on them anymore…..

oh so many cute kiddos this morning! first up, harper….i LOVE her look of wonder here. we were bird watchin’

and her BEAUTIFUL sister…..mom told me ahead of time she is photogenic, but wow, she wasn’t kidding!

and the oldest, at 15. I was so impressed by him, he was great with his sisters…

and check out this cute little dude…..i just loved his outfit and his spikey little hair!

was totally crazy, but totally cool. day one of the mini sessions this morning and then i got to go meet mr. amery this afternoon for his newborn session.

starting with the mini sessions….totally cute….isn’t she just the sweetest little doll?

this little one kept me on the move, he was quick, but a few conversations about trucks, and we were good 😉 look at those big beautiful eyes….isn’t he dreamy?

i just love how little babies use their toes to get where they want to be….

he’s growing out his hair. some sort of self expression, trying something new, which i suppose is good. but to tell you the truth, it’s driving me nuts. sshhhhhhh, don’t tell him.

flashback friday

Going through Teagan’s birth slideshow got me thinking about how much his arrival has changed Ty and Taryn. I thought I’d do a good old fashioned “flashback friday” and post a few of the last shots I took of just the two of them together. Last February…just 5 days before Teagan arrived =)
