I did this with my own family awhile back and I really wanted to show the fun, silly, spontaneous side of Alex and his family.  This was done 100% on location, no backdrop, no setup, just all of us sitting in a parking lot having some fun!  Can’t beat that.

I created a new template because I wanted to be able to showcase 5 per strip instead of 4 and more importantly, I want to be able to print big (sized at 8 in x 40 in).  Once I get all caught up I’ll come back and share the .psd file if anyone is interested.

for all the well wishes and prayers, we appreciate them more than you know.

teagan is doing well.  we expected him to scream and cry when they took him from us to go into the OR but he did fantastic, not even a tear shed.  coming out of surgery was another story.  he was scared, in pain and very disoriented.  but after lots of extra cuddles today and some extra rest, he’s doing very well.  i will still be a little scarce and slow to reply to emails as my little man needs my attention and jase returns to a full day of work tomorrow.  thanks again!

and a huge thank you to my dear friend, for letting us drop off our […]

It’s been awhile since I’ve had a family session that wasn’t a newborn, in home, instead of on location.  I forgot how much I absolutely love in home sessions.  I get to see who they are and capture the family interact and be themselves in their own space.  Love that.  This cute family had grandparents in for Easter and we managed to sneak in a session while they are still here.  We played, we blew bubbles and danced and read books and chased the dog and blew kisses andcuddled and took a bubble bath and read a bedtime story with grandma…..whew, toddlers are busy!  Oh, and we hung out with mommy….love these….

what we did today…..

a little spur of the moment egg hunt.  i decided to grab the bunny suit on a whim and when i mentioned to ty it was in the trunk, he jumped on the opportunity.  i was shocked and the girls were thrilled.  he was pretty funny and it fit him way better than expected.  he’s such a good sport!  not only did he wear the bunny with pride, he also packed our picnic lunch and hid all the eggs down at our neighborhood park for the other kids.  i love him.

i had second thoughts about taking teagan out…he had another round of shots at our pedi’s office this […]
