Again, I sit here not sure what to say or how to convey how much this has changed me.  I’m not sure I can.  It is my hope I have done this family justice, that I have brought something real and genuine to them.  This is a slideshow I put together for Alex and his family.  It showcases only a few of the over 200 images from their session, but it tells their story.  You can read more about how I came to meet this wonderful family here.

A quick photo of little T.  I tricked her into this shot.  My 5DMII went in to Canon for a little TLC and I got it back this morning.  I coerced Little T into a few test shots for me, bedhead and all.  She was thrilled with this idea, can’t ya tell?

I had such a great time with this family.  It’s been awhile since I have had an in home session that wasn’t a newborn and I forgot just how much I love them.  I get a little glimpse into their world and it was a lot of fun to just hang out with this adorable family for the afternoon.

One of our goals was to capture lots of photos of Grace with her Grandmother….love these….

…thanked a friend.

…cried reading a gracious email giving me more credit than I could ever deserve.  I cried again when one of my clients called me through tears herself.  I am so grateful.

…finished up a week of doing at least one nice, extra, little thing for my husband each day.

…found myself wandering around the house saying “where is Teagan??” way to many times.  That kid is everywhere.

…am thankful Teagan’s follow up appointment for his surgery went so well.  In fact, it couldn’t have gone any better.

…am working on Mother’s Day gifts.

…have thought about picking up my camera to capture little moments during our day, but haven’t done it yet.

…can’t get the scorpion that was in.my.house yesterday out of my mind.  […]
