1. Tomorrow is Ty’s last day of elementary school ever. Yesterday we went to his end of 5th grade award ceremony and it was bittersweet. He got 5 awards including being voted as a “promise keeper” by his peers. The little kids and I went and had lunch with him before the awards and I got to meet Ty’s girlfriend. I was pleasantly surprised when she walked right up to the lunch table, put her hand out to shake mine and introduced herself. She sat across from me and we chatted, super sweet kid. I last saw them at Christmas and they are all just as adorable as ever (and all 3 look way taller too!). They are seriously the most polite, well mannered and loving kids. Did I mention beautiful too?

My session for tonight got rescheduled thanks to some nasty weather we are having (boo). I guess I shouldn’t complain, I’ve only had to reschedule due to weather twice in a year and a half we’ve been here. Probably because it pretty much never rains here, its one thing I just can’t get used to.

So instead of being off shooting a beautiful family and having fun, I’m catching up on some less fun things like quickbooks and filing. I had a great morning with an adorable little family bright and early…

hehehe….I just love this set so much!! I don’t think I’ve done lollipop pictures since we moved to Austin but this little cutie was all over the idea of lollipops from the second she spotted them in my bag!

The location was pretty yummy too, I fell in love with it instantly. It’s great to be 3 isn’t it?

The cure for baby fever. The perfect birth control. Photographing my own family. We had plans while my mom was in town to head out for a family session and then go out to dinner. We talked to the kids about being cooperative and being well behaved. Unfortunately, the PCS was at an all time high and the Mother’s Day gift of cooperation soon turned to the gift of frustration. I can honestly say that I was on the verge of tears…..why are my kids so tough? Why is it easier to photograph clients?
